Archives Policies

The Archives and Research Library, located in the Latimer House at 126 South Third Street in downtown Wilmington, is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. The archives are closed on Wednesdays. Appointments are encouraged — please call us at (910) 762-0492. In addition, you can contact archivist, Erin Boyle, directly by email.

Non-members of the Society will be charged a $5.00 reading fee to use the Archives. Also, in-depth research requests by mail, e-mail, or phone will incur a $20.00/hour research fee.

Photocopies are available both my mail and in person for 25¢/page. Photocopying of entire folders cannot be accomodated. Copies made from any one folder are limited to 20 pages.
