Holiday Traditions of Old Wilmington presents a number of events to help kick-start the festivities of the season.

Caroling

Saturday, December 8, 6:00pm

Come one, come all for a fun-filled evening full of song and holiday cheer.

Join us in front of the Latimer House and sing your way through old Wilmington.

Bring along flashlights, treats and thermos of hot chocolate. The evening will end

with a rousing chorus at the stairs of the Federal Building – a real traffic –stopper!

Holiday Bow and Gift Wrapping Workshop

Saturday, December 8, 10:00am-12:00pm

Do you wonder about your bow-tying and gift-wrapping skills? Come to this workshop and

take a lesson from a “trained professional.” Learn to make easy and decorative bows

along with techniques for wrapping gifts beautifully and creatively. The workshop will

be held at Grace United Methodist Church at 401 Grace Street. There is plenty of parking

in the lot on Fourth Street. The cost is $25 for LCFHS members and $30 for non-members.
